Isabella Lenzi (1986, São Paulo, Brazil) is a curator, critic and researcher. She is currently Artistic Director and Chief Curator of the Alberto Cruz Foundation in Santo Domingo and Madrid. Previously she was responsible for the Latin American art collections in the Collections Department of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and Curator of Plastic Arts at the Mapfre Foundation in Madrid.
She has directed the cultural center of the Camões Institute / Consulate General of Portugal in São Paulo, and has worked at the Cuenca Biennial in Ecuador and at Videobrasil. She has also coordinated the Neon Curatorial Exchange curatorial residency program at the Whitechapel Gallery in London and has collaborated with institutions such as the Nouveau Musée National in Monaco and the PAC - Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Milan.
She has organized projects in Spanish institutions such as La Casa Encendida and the Sala de Arte Joven of the Community of Madrid. Currently, she is preparing a monograph on the Brazilian artist Regina Silveira for La Virreina Center de l’Imatge in Barcelona (2024) and a curatorial project for the Center del Carme de Cultura Contemporània in Valencia (2025).
