Javier Medina Verdolini 

[Bell Ville, Córdoba, 1967) In 1991, he studied photography at the Lino Spilimbergo School of Applied Arts and graduated as a lawyer in 1992. Since 1993, he has lived and worked in Asunción, where he held his first exhibition in 1994. In 2007, he participated in Jorge Saenz's workshop on photographic essays, winning the Henry Matisse Prize in 2007. With the material produced in Paris, he published the book "Solo (en) Paris", sponsored by the French Embassy in Paraguay and the Alliance Française in 2009. He also received the Best Essay Award in 2010 from Ojo Salvaje (Asunción Biennial) and the Bicentennial Prize from the Museum of Fine Arts and the Cultural Center of Spain in 2011.

His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at institutions such as the Museo del Barro and Fotogalería Monocromo in Asunción, Paraguay, as well as the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Rosario, Salta, and Resistencia, and the Centro de Fotografía Contemporánea de la Plata in Argentina. His exhibitions also include the Museo de Arte Moderno in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the Festival du Imaginaire in Paris, France, and the Verzasca Photo Festival in Switzerland. He has ventured into audiovisual projects such as "La linea" (2007), "Los Yegros" (2011), and "Mujer Yrupe" (2012) as either author or director of photography.
