Gabriela Mercado
Bio
Gabriela Mercado is an Electronics Engineer graduated in 2014 and former member of the Neuroengineering group from the Catholic University of her city, Asunción; with further studies in digital visuals at IFOE, Argentina.
Since 2018, she has been involved in the production of cultural events focused on music, visuals and performance.
Aside from operating as a VJ, her work includes lighting and design for installations, shows, and parties.
Statement
Gabriela Mercado has participated in the development of an automated car for children with disabilities. She has participated in the production of visual design involving 3D digital modeling for video and photography.
She has done audiovisual work in collaboration with renowned artists such as Victoria Mussi and Laura Mandelik. She is co-owner of the record label Inbetween and the nightclub Tango, both globally reknown in the electronic music scene.
