The Center of Visual Arts/Museo del Barro is made up of the Museo del Barro (Popular Art), the Museo de Arte Indígena (Indigenous Art) and the Museo Paraguayo de Arte Contemporáneo (western illustrated tradition). Its collection is completed with works by international artists, especially from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. Its program is based on the thesis of equal exhibition status for different visual traditions, while taking into account their specificity.
