It is an environment of notable natural beauty of 19 hectares, of which 6 hectares are maintained with virgin natural vegetation. It is declared a natural reserve and is considered by the people of Asunción as the second green lung of the city. For tourists who have the habit of doing exercises and controlled daily walks, the Health Park in Asunción is an excellent option, very well located, very safe, with parking, clean, and very well organized. There is an immense variety of native trees in the Health Park. MADES (Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development) has registered 75 species. Various species of animals also exist in the park. There are registered reptiles, amphibians, opossums, and birds.
