Located on the highest hill of the neighborhood that shares its name, the Holy Trinity Church is recognized as a Cultural Heritage site of the city of Asunción. The parish is a work of art featuring a Neoclassical style, evident in the paintings observed on the ceiling; it also exhibits a late Baroque (or Rococo) style seen in the altarpieces brought from the renowned Church of Yaguarón. The renowned parish located in the Trinidad neighborhood, although not widely known, was built by the Italian architect named Alessandro Ravizza. The architect of Milanese origin arrived in our country in 1854. He was an artist who emphasized an eclectic style in his works. In 2009, the Holy Trinity Church was recognized as the seventh Treasure of the Cultural Material Heritage of Asunción.
