José Asunción Flores Avenue (also known as Costanera Avenue or Asunción's Costanera) is an avenue and pedestrian street in Asunción, initially inaugurated in 2012. Walking along the Costanera Avenue, one can appreciate the Asunción Bay, as well as the Historical Center of Asunción (Cabildo, the National Congress, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the López Palace). Free and open access. It is ideal for walking, sunbathing, biking, or running, but without a doubt, the main attraction of this promenade are the food stalls offering all kinds of grilled sandwiches: the classic choripán, bondiola, churrasquito, milanesa, vacío, hamburger, etc.
